The holes in the receiver are about 2/3 the thickness of the screws off. I got some weaver windage rings and am trying to get it on paper. SO!
I got out today before the sun turn our back roads in to a mass of four wheel drive killing soup of liquid gumbo muck to try it. I set a box at 25 yards with a paper target on it. I had moved my windage rings all the way over and ran the scope all the way over also. Shot, then shot, and again shot. Couldn't hit the box. I then shot a patch of left over snow to SEE the impact ,OK way high and still to the right. Dropped the scope and aimed to the lower extreme left side of the box. WOW I hit the box. I got the up and down now ok but no more windage adjustment. I'm still off 10" right. I came home today and took every thing off. I took the base and elongated the holes . I used some aluminum epoxy and filled the holes. I then made an aluminum plate to go over the top in side part of my base. clamped it all together and drilled some new holes. Sounds like it would make the bases "TIP" funny but not really. The base sits where it should just the holes are in a different spot, should still be square to the top of the action, I think. I moved the cross hairs back to center by counting the turns then back half. I still left the windage rings extreme left and mounted it all back on. HUMMM Now it looks like I went TO far. I'll try it first but I can center the rings if I have to. I'm going to get this thing to shoot yet !!!

Can you pull the bolt out and boresight it? It can be frustrating trying to find the target otherwise.
