Wish it was closer to me i could help out with the equipment. My boss would not know what to say if i loaded some equipment up on the trailers and headed out there i think its about 8 or 9 hour ride.

Fairly close w a big skid steer!
This sounds fun. I could use the schooling and only 45 min away.

About the best I have to offer is a garden hoe and a chain saw. But I'd be willing to attend a work party if work allows. Kyle

If it wasn't over 1500 miles and I blew my travel budget for the year I would be there.

Jeff, Earlier in the thread you stated basically that all muzxleloaders are welcome. That is fantastic!! What do you think about having multiple divisions of shooting, traditional, modern with sub powder and smokeless unlimited? "Bragging Rights" for each division. Maybe post on the thread who is showing up to shoot in each division. Thanks, Kyle

That's a good idea but we need more shooters.. So far it's all high power smokeless rifles except for Two that will be shooting black horn,, which is high power also and these two fellas can hang pretty good right along side the smokeless guns..
As our numbers grow, the shoots agenda will change accordingly...
Thanks. Jeff Hankins

Kash913, The range we shot at last year has no houses behind it. Not the same place. No worries about hitting a house. Kyle

From all accounts Jeff you set the bar pretty high last year. I wasn’t there but read the after action report. I think people were in shock that you just sorta went up to a unknown powder charger threw a charge and went yep thats good enough and dusted everyones britches with loads that just fell right down the barrel. There may be some people still trying to figure out how to beat you and just not there yet?? Might ask them how much more time they need?

All jokes aside I think its more of a logistics problem getting everyone together on the same sheet of music than it is anything. Im sure everyone would love to come if they could if for nothing else just to learn.

I went last year and had a lot of fun. I took a 23" barreled 45 and knew I was out classed before I left home but I shot along with the others and did not care where I came in. That is the type of gun I hunt with and that's what I shoot I could not compete with some of those guys even if I used their guns. For me it was a nice weekend, learned a lot, enjoyed the fellowship and shot a few targets. I think I even left a better trigger puller than I was when I arrived. Everyone was willing to help anybody with any problems they may have had. It is a good time and if I can get free I will be there again this year.
