In an attempt to forecast component needs I would like to know how many bullets a year you shoot through your SML so that I can order appropriately so I can stay ahead of demand. When you order bullets how many do you order and with what frequency?

I'll order 100 twice a year for 45. If I find I really like a bullet I will try to hoard 500 at all times. Hope this helps!

.45's 275 gr and under, I'd order 100 a year, you get to the 40's someday I'd take 300-500 a year. Thanks again for your time, money and effort spent.

I'm still in the search for a bummer that fits my bill meaning weight BC and price. I shot over 300 rounds this year but my purchases for bullets were all over the place. Once I find the number I will stick with probably a 100 a year. Unless I keep tinkering then who knows. Actually 100 could be low I'm trying to learn how to shoot long range so it might take more.

In years past I've shot a cpl hundred MZ bullets in a given year. If the Parker 275 were avail. that's probably how many I'd get for hunting purposes. I could give you a better idea of what I might order from you if I knew what all was being offered.

I shot about 400 last year, mostly through other peoples guns.
I will buy 100 ea up front and if they do well probably 500 per year, that's conservative..

Adding a poll with various quantities may make it easier to keep a tally. Probably 50-100 to start.

.45's 275 gr and under, I'd order 100 a year. Thanks again for your time, money and effort spent. +1, especially if they shoot as well or better than the 270 and 275 MH's.

Less than 50. Actually less than 10. Now that it is sighted in, a couple to make sure it is still sighted in and maybe one at a critter. As for shooting a lot, I'll do that with other guns.

I checked "200" in the poll, but...
I've ordered way north of 500 bullets this calendar year, but I'm still experimenting and trying to find "THE" sabotless load for my RemPac .45. I've shot just under 200 bullets this year, so I'm obviously creating a stockpile. To answer the heart of your question... if you were to bring a new .458 bullet to the market, I would likely order 100 to start with. If the testing went well, and that bullet proved to be "THE ONE" or at least in the top 2 or 3, I'd likely order 200-300 more to have in my stockpile.

I polled for 200 but I only have smooth formed currently so it really depends on the offerings.

You did not have a category for "in excess of 1500?" I would probably take a hundred to start. It would not pay to buy or commit t a bunch if they don't shoot? Richard

I voted 200, although I shoot more than that per year. I would be up for a 100 to begin with for sure.
