Talked to Matrix Bullets about trying to design a new bullet for us for our sml. I asked if he could read threw some of our threads and see what we are about along with what our ml can do.
The other thing I mentioned was how Parker Bullets was having a hard time stock and keeping up with demand. I realize that Bob is trying to find a jacket with high quality for his bullets and the search is being difficult. Not trying to poo poo Parker just trying to get another high BC bullet for our sml along with supply.
I asked if he could design a .451 and/or .458 high BC bullet in 250-325 grain bullet for us to use in our ml.
His response--
Hello Chad, I'll see if I can do a .458, I have allot of those aluminum tips. Thanks, Marshal
I also contacted Hornady however I have not received a response.

Hopefully Parker will have some bullets available soon., they are top notch.. 7mm is working on us some options as well with out the tips and I am just as happy shooting an OTM as a bullet with a polymer or aluminum tip. As for any other bullet offering, the more options we have the better, however I doubt Hornady will ever jump in an make a bullet specially for us, although I wish they would...

I ran across them a few months ago while looking for 6.5 bullets for a 6.5 SML project. I like that they offer match style flat base bullets. I also came across this guy, www.siouxbullets.com/ . This guy uses both premade jackets and also does tubing style like the Barnes originals and Hawk. I could never get the extra long range accuracy out of tube jacketed bullets. The problem is Berger pretty much supplies the entire industry with match grade quality jackets. There was a company called Captech that was the new kid on the block that was supposed to take the market by storm a few years ago but I haven't heard much. Remington had their jackets and solid copper bullets made here in Ohio in the past by a company over by Columbus.

Their Rossman was wondering if there were some other companies I could get in touch with.

I see their jackets are.032 thickness, are they going to expand reliably as these are I believe the same jacket thickness as the Barnes originals?
