That one is the style that goes in a lathe for knurling, not sure how you would hold your bullets to "wring" them with that tool.

Set it up where the bullet will on sit on top in between the two rollers...then roll a file back and forth with downward pressure ...works like a champ.. You can find used ones on ebay for half that price....the coarse angled wheels worked better for me.....

Ok now we have something! Buy that tool that riverrat has and make yourself one of these. I hadn't found a supply of knurling wheels cheap enough to start making them but that might be the trick there!

I have tried a number of these tools, including Edge's all work, however I find that one file and a digital caliper is the fastest and best, I have knuled 500 bullets in an evening, make a mistate, run it though the die and knule it again
Good luck, Marty

I have been knurling some barnes 195's and they seem to be sporadic at the 300 yard mark with a 10/50 duplex. I cant help wonder if messing with the bullet surface it creates inconsistency's? Jeff~

Jeff~ I believe your issue has to be with the sabot. Can't remember if you have shoot sabotless but that inconsistency will disappear if you go to sabotless.

I am shooting Sabots .. bullet fits tight most of the time.. that first load after cleaning sometimes is a bit loose though
