Ever since I was a young one I have wanted a 41 Magnum. I finally got my permit no thanks to NYS since it took 11 months and a cost of $180. It now seems that ammunition for the 41 Mag is as scarce as 22LR if not more. Still wanting to fulfill my want I'm looking into reloading. The only brass I can find is this Starline how does it compare in quality?

Starline is great brass, I've never had a problem with a single piece of it in 10mm, 50ae, 460 rowland, 45acp, 40 super, 45 super, or 357 mag.

Starline brass is just fine. I see 41 Remington ammo available at several places, check out gunbot under pistol ammo. Midwayusa and others has it in stock, kinda spendy though.

My main problem is that I live in NY and our lovely government passed a law that outlaws us from buying ammunition over the internet. As you can bet that extremely limits what I have access to with out driving two hours across state lines to get what ever is available. I can however still but supplies to reload over the net so that was my plan. Thanks for the input when I get my hands on one I'll start buying supplies.

I feel for you being restricted by your state!! PM me if you need new brass other than Starline.
Starline makes a good brass though if you have it available. .41 is one of my favorite calibers. I load the 41 for revolver, lever and single shot rifles. I like Remington brass the best for .41

Thanks for the offer, I'll take you up on that if needed. I'm still looking for the gun I want and when I find it I'll start gathering stuff for reloading.
