I have a stainless Remington 700ml that shoots #11 caps. What is the cost of the bolt kit and plug for shooting BH209 with 209 primers? I PM'd hunter with no reply so I'm not sure if he saw the PM or if he's just busy with hunting season. Anyone know how to get a hold of him?
A friend had the gun and didn't shoot it because the #11 caps would not fire all the time. He sold me the gun for $75 because he bought a new ML. I'm in no hurry as ML season has passed here and I'm thinking about getting this thing ready to go for next season.
Also, what BH209 loads/bullet combo's are you guys shooting. I like the solid copper Barnes because it seems at low velocities I don't always get full pass through with copper plated lead bullets.

I'd go to R&P Muzzleloading since they sell the kit on their site. They also carry many different brands of bullets and this is where I purchased my Precision Rifle QT 40s. I finally got a chance to harvest a nice buck on opening day with a 40 yard shot and he piled up not even 20 yards. Bullets do not pass thru but expend all their energy inside the deer. Heres a link to the kit they sell for your ML. Price is $59.95 plus shipping. Hope this helps... www.muzzleloadingbullets.com/Remington-700ML-209-Conversion-Kit-p/remkit209.htmScott

I would post on the smokeless thread asking for Hunter to get in touch with you. He's more likely to see it there. There are others that can help too, Luke and Myers 129 probably both have the conversion kits on hand and could also help you out. There's more traffic on the smokeless board so you will likely get some responses if you post there looking for help. Good luck, you will love the hunter bolt nose and plug conversion!
