Richard built me a new rempac a few weeks ago.But due to hunting season I haven't got to shoot it yet.Going hunting again next week so maybe get to fire it in another week or two. Looks great, have the new bushing plug in it.Hoping to get many, many shots from it. Have the older bushing plug in my sav pac-nor and have over 400 shots through it.

Do not set that down in the woods or you will have trouble finding it back. Good camo colors.

Specs, please! As hunting time permits of course. A man only gets a few short weeks to enjoy the pursuit that many of us hold so deer.(pun intended)

If ya'll remember a month or so ago I did a post on building a ML with the factory Remington stock? (all reinforced) Well, Herman was "sniffing" it when I brought it to the range but never said he was "actually" going to buy it. Another member here, in the meantime, bought it. I think Herman was a little disappointed when I sold it...............so, I said that I had another Rem. ML and would build him one? With that, the necessary parts were ordered from Luke and in a week or so, Herman got himself a Rem/PN with a factory camo stock done exactly like the one I did the article on..........Except Herman's gun has the heavier #7 contour barrel vs. the Sendero on the other build. Just a quick up-date on the new build. Got to shoot it the first time yesterday.Didn't make up any special loads to try first. Had some left over loads shooting N110-15 grs/n130-55 grs from my 50 cal. Had a few left from my 45 pac-nor, N110-15 grs/H322-60 grs. Both shooting 250 sst's. I had bore sighted it with my BSA bore sighter. Shot at a clay bird at 100yds with Richard and Bill looking for me,busted it dead center. Next at 100yds shot the 45 load, the bullets that I had sized for my 45 pacnor went down the barrel ok.Only got about a 1 1/2 in group with it. Next I tried the 50 cal load,Richard and I were talking about him doing good without the veg wad so I decided that I would give the 250 a try without them. It went 2 in one hole and one almost touching for a 1/2 in group. Next went to 300 yds.I had brought my 45 pac-nor to empty it for cleaning and shot the loaded round at 300 it went just under a 1 inch dot about 2 inches. Next shot the 50 cal load without the wads because it did so well at 100 yds. The first 3 shots went in a 3 inch group,I did shoot another one and it went out of the group. I was having a problem getting the bolt to close but think I have that fixed now. Want to try some 300 gr sst next trip. Richard did a great job and I really like the rifle so far.
