My 14 year-old son Luke killed his best muzzleloader buck so far this morning in Montgomery County, Tn. 62 grains of H-4198, HLB sabot, 195 Barnes out of a Remi/Mcgowan smokeless .45 named "Black Betty" and built by HillBill. The boy is flat laying them down.

Very nice buck, congrats to him. Rambler that's a slide fire stock makes the follow up shot faster!

Way to go Luke!!! Congrats. Keep that freezer stocked and old Dad will be able to take it easy! Our little guy is Luke also, but he's got a few years to catch you, he just turned 4. One thing is his spirit and desire to shoot, hunt, fish is very high now.
