Hello, I am new to shooting these muzzleloaders and unfortunately do not get a ton of range time. I was hoping someone would be able to share their drop data with me because I am limited to 100 yds at my local range. Although I know it won't be exact it should get me in the ballpark. Here's my setup. Rem 700 ML action 26" pacnor 1-22" twist modified sendero Hunter bolt nose Savage bushing plug Plan on shooting 70 gr I4198 275 gr MH I live in northern illinois. Elevation aprox 450? Temp will be in 60's. Thank you in advance!

Bestill shot BH209 around the 2400 fps which I was able to duplicate with 10 grains of 4759 and 50 grains of 4198. He has a bunch of drop info on that bullet out to 500 yards but in a "similar" Douglas barrel; he might be able to give you some starting info. A nice guy to talk to.

There is plenty of load data on this site and pressure testing but ballistics is one thing I haven't noted as yet??
Watching with interest.

I suppose one could use a ballistic application with all of the data available on the site. I was however hoping to see someone's "real life" drop information! Hopefully someone has something they are willing to share.
