One of the better opining days. A nice breeze ,10 to 15 mph. lots of sunshine and pleasant temps. BUT the best thing was the ducks where co-operating. The geese seemed to be on holiday. The only flock we saw came to our decoys but didn't like it and started to leave a smidgen to soon. Still we should have had 3 dead geese on the ground, NOT! ONE was it HUMM going to have to work on that.. The three of us did have out limit in ducks by 11:00 and what an assortment. Mallards canvasbacks, blue and green wing teal, redheads, Gadwall, and pintails.
And a coyote for good measure

Looks like you had a Ducky day for sure, congrats. For me the madness is having to clean so many birds at once. But cleanup after a decent day of hunting is par for the course.

Let me say this !!! www.wildwingslinger.com/ It took us 25 minuets, and a shovel to the coyote took it's head off in a blink of an eye.

Slugger A neat outfit I’ve never seen before. Thanks for sharing. My problem is I like to keep the legs and giblets also. For goose I’ll strip off the breasts and keep the legs separate. For ducks I prefer cooking the whole bird with stuffing. I guess my pickiness creates the additional time for cleaning the birds for what I want from them. Ed
