Today I was able to go shoot the 350 hot core tipped. Along with I shot the 275 BE's and 250 SST. I was concerned about the 350 hc because of recoil and pressure build up. However after talking to a couple people I decided to go with straight 3031 for the hc. Great day for shooting almost no wind at all and 64 degrees. All shots 100 yards 9:41 am 64 degrees feels like 66 Pressure 1019 Humidity 81% 1016 altitude Load set up: 25" 45 cal McRem 209 Win Primers Large Flame Channel .o4o Tungsten Bushing 1st load 73 Grains IMR 4198 275 BE's 1st ---- 2nd 2720 3rd 2705 100 yards 2nd load 73 grains IMR 4198 250 SST knurled up then full formed sized indexed 1st 2761 2nd 2736 3rd 2770 3rd load 65 grains IMR 3031 350 HC Tipped full formed 1st 1966 2nd 2066 3rd 1981

How was the recoil on those 350s? The SSTs really reacted well to the FFing. Nice

Thanks for the comments guys.
Rangeball--recoil wasn't bad similar to the 250 SST at 2760 f/s
Rambler-- the full form is move but if you can send your swingloc back in and get the 2n1 die that would be a great move. Zen's like I read where Swingloc would do that but I could be wrong.

Great job RR. I wonder if you knurled up the BE's and then sized them, if it would tighten them up like the SST's? Just a thought..

I may put a for sale ad in the for sale forum and then get a dual die.
I remember when both Tom and Jeff were touting their respective dies there were a few posts wanting to buy the smooth forms

I have Jeff's die and it works very well. At first I wasn't happy with the full form part only because I didn't know what I was doing. So my frustration was operator error. All in all I'm very happy with my Haskins's 2n1 sizing die.

The SST single load looks great. I bet the 350's would tighten up with load work but deer accurate as is.
