So this dude on Pensacola fishing forum that owns a ml2 is telling people that from what Chuck Hawk says....Bp vs smokeless ml's theres not much difference in Range or performance....I told him that until he comes here and learns a thing or 1000 then to quit blowing smoke,lol....The only person on here that I know of that can and does shoot long range Bp is Bestill....And he does it quite well to. I love my smokeless guns and unless I have to legally will not go back......

I’ve heard the term Disconnected from Reality but like your term of Disconnected Somewhere as it covers a broader boundary. SML I quit trying to communicate certain realities to people if they are gullible and choose to believe something else. I sleep better at nights when I don’t get cranked up. Ed

Uh-huh. It isn't as though articles on Hawk's pages are one-sided or opinionated, or anything.
Last article I bothered to read there was comparing the Marlin X7 to the Savage Edge. The "author" even admitted the barrel was touching the stock on the X7 but went on with the comparison anyway. With that info alone, one knows which rifle was more "accurate". It's been a few years and I haven't been back. Not as though I favor either rifle, as I have both Marlins and Savages. But to say the Edge is more accurate than the X7 was a rigged crock in this case. I would have liked to see results with both on an even playing field.
By the way, many of us know who this "author" is, but I won't dignify him by putting it down here. It's probably the same person who is saying there's not much difference between the two ML's mentioned above.

I don't know how it is with others, but when I tell people how much I love to shoot and hunt with inline muzzleloaders, I think you would be as amazed and appalled as I am at the level of ignorance out there surrounding them and I'm talking the non-smokeless inlines. The most common complaint I get is a expression of fear of any ML regardless of make exploding while firing. I always ask the person who makes such statements on what exactly do they think would cause such a catastrophic failure, and almost always no legitimate reason for concern is given. The reason given is usually "well I heard from a friend" or "some unnamed Internet source posted" and so on.
At the extreme other end, I'm also just as amazed at the amount of people who think it safe to shoot smokeless powder out of their non-smokeless ML's. The reasoning given is almost always: "Pressure is pressure" I counter with "but when will you know when you have reached the point of to much pressure?" and the winning answer is: "YOUR RIFLES RECEIVER BLOWS UP while holding it pressed tightly AGAINST YOUR FACE!!!"
I find it completely bewildering such ignorance persists today.
