Share a few pic 1st time at Young's long shot with My Swing Lock 416 shooting Le high 416 gr. pic one first two shots at 1000 yard. Pic 2 third shot . I had to drive down to target brass bullets don't spatter like lead. The furthest I never shot 600 yard 15 year ago very happy with the rig.

Looks a lot different than I had imagined. Do they rent the place out for days at a time? I' think we could organize a shoot there for sure.

It is a Top Notch place. It is the nicest range I have been too. It has a four seater gator to use a refrigerator stock with snacks pop and water, microwave and gas grill to use. Chorny, target, lead sled and sand bags spotting scopes but not the best. Area heated for winter 15 foot raise deck for shooting prone

Slick looking bullets and good shooting! Thanks for the report and pictures. So how many MOA (or inches) do you need to add to a 100 yard zero to ring the gong?. Just for comparison.........I have to be hitting 25" high at 100 yards with my 6.5 x .284 improved shooting a 147 gr. Clinch River custom bullet with a .620 BC and a velocity of 2925 fps to be on the 1K bull. Richard

Richard Richard I think you mean 25feet not 25 inches. 416gr leHigh @2720fps 100 zero to 1000 260 inches or 21 feet 1830 fps and still have 3094 energy at 1000

Those projectiles look like missiles, impressive looking. 3000 feet, the bullet is in the air a long time, cross winds would be tough.

That is still 26 moa so it would be almost as a flat shooter as Richards 6.5 x .284.

Toms guns are not simply a "gun" they are a piece of art work. one of the best modern examples of gun art I have ever seen...

What a beautiful gun. Especially love the stock. Wish they made one like that for the 700ml.
Are you FF sizing the brass bullets? Annealing or just using a really heavy duty set up? No issue with die damage?

Nice rifle and great piece of glass. What reticle did you choose? Is that the standard rail mount for Swinglock? I have never seen that one before; keep in mind I have never seen them except in pictures.
