Sometimes computer behavior can have you scratching you head. For a while now I have been having a slight problem maintaining my wireless internet connection. On screen it would tell me signal strength was good and then note it was weak. Okay at first I attributed this to my internet provider and was about ready to submit a complaint. For some reason I also considered another possibility I had to eliminate before submitting my complaint. My desktop computer has a Wireless USB Adapter mounted internally. So I went to a shop that handled computer components and bought a new LINSKYS AC1200. Needless to say I won’t be filing a complaint as there are no longer any issues appearing. Today’s technology has advanced to the digital generation for capturing pictures. Take a picture and download it to your computer where touchups can be made and choose anyone you want printed. Also scanners and printers are no longer separate items and are now combined units. When I had to replace my old printer I technically had an obsolete scanner hanging around. For some reason I felt I should hang onto it. Now I’m glad I did as this older scanner allowed me to scan film negatives and convert them into pictures. When I recently couldn’t find a specific picture I did find the negative and replaced that missing picture. In this fast paced technology items become quickly outdated but in this case it still has a usefulness I can rely on for recapturing the past. Maybe there’s hope for this aging outdated guy. Ed

Aging and outdated? ? Sure don't sound like it Ed, you're more computer savy than me... Glad you got it going and also was able to revive some pics, that's pretty cool....

Ohioguy You give me too much credit for being computer savvy. I can basically work my way around a computer but barely know half of its true capabilities. The fun part is stumbling across a new format or application one is not familiar with. Then the learning begins all over again. In my youth computers were a concept of what they are today. They are a great tool for documenting and communicating as I’m notified by email for work when needed. But if they aren’t working properly they drive you around the bend. Sometimes I wonder if they have become too important and integral part of how society operates. Rambler Okay I’m a silver haired puppy but would prefer the brown hair, body and stamina of my youth.
