I shot my Slufoot converted Katahdin barrel today!! I love this rifle!!! It likes 57 and 58 grains of H4198.. any deer out to about 200 yds is in serious danger!!! Hardest thing for me was waiting between the shots to let the barrel cool. I was at my farm.. shoot once.. jump in the Pioneer and check a feeder.. or ride around for a little while. My first three shots at 110 yds (farthest I can shoot at the farm) were good enough to make me smile!!! I want to thank Robert (Slufoot) for helping me on this and answering all my questions.. if you are thinking about having one done.. don't hesitate.. Rob

How about some pix of the gun and targets. Eyecandy is always interesting. And which sabot/bullet combo. I find those 40X200 SST the most accurate. I've been wanting to shoot too but it's 98 here today and due for heat for another week or so. When it's only in the mid 70s overnite it is too hot for me to shoot. 10 ga

I was shooting 57 and 58 grains of H4198 and 200 gr SST's with Harvester light blue sabots.. I got to shoot one Barnes 195 gr before the rain hit.. was able to put it in the black with 56 gr of H4198.. Im not smart enough to post pics.. but I was using a Burris Timberline 4.5x14 AO scope on it.. I am really liking this scope. I hate shooting in this heat.. it wasn't so hot as humid in South Arkansas.. sucks to be having to wipe sweat off your face while trying to shoot.

You are very welcome Rob! I had a good feeling that you would really like the Katahdin.
GOOD SHOOTING! Slufoot
