What is the best tool to use to remove bushing from my rem/pac 209?

I use a punch. Make sure you get as much carbon out as possible beforehand. If you don't you end up packing the flame orifice full of carbon, may anyways, you will need a drill bit to open that back up also.

What size punch? I'm not very mechanically inclined and don't want to buy the wrong items. Will the drill bit be .030?

5/32" will fit about perfect in most cases. If you want a little wiggle room get 1/8".

Bill you may have. I will have to look when I get home. I re-taped the plug and cleaned last night. Just couldn't remember what tools to use to remove bushing. Have about 60 shots through it now. Figure its time to remove and clean.
