hmmm, I wore a pink shirt to church sunday, girls like pink...LOL
I have thought about the crush washer route before but it throws in a whole new set of variables, what material? how thick? would have to headspace to allow for thickness, how much crush would it have over time? etc. someday maybe someone will experiment and see what it does?

I think a copper crush washer similar to one used on diesel injectors would be a good test platform. They are definitely one time use though and it would require machining on the plug from my point of view. If it worked it might be ok as with the pure bushings plug maintenance is lower so maybe it wouldn't need to be pulled as often.

Myers129. Interesting question. I'm looking for the ideal ignition system. I have two of HANKINS B/P The only problem I have is I want to user a .223 bolt nose and his plug seals like a bolt not on the nose. I've asked this question before but no one makes a comment. If the sealing system is ok then all I would have to do is get the moguls made to fit the .223 bolt. It is also in question how the plug is going to hold up to high pressure and or heavy loads of slow powder. I realize it is of no interest to most but I'm working on a 6.5 cal. now and on some more research possibly a 7mm. I'm looking for a low recoil long range application. I really feel the smokeless muzzle loader has great possibility's in this range.
