Ok, somewhat know what I want (evolving) Any other advise to make a shooter would be welcome and I know the barrel seems to have more consistent quality and is a little higher in price than the pac-nor . If anyone wants to price this and message me, I would welcome it.
1. Remington 700 ML which I may be able to supply the action 2. 45 cal. 26" ss brux barrel 3. boyd stock with thumbhole 4. what ever work which would create accuracy from barrel - stock (freefloating) 5. Trigger, open to sugguestions 6. picantinny rail 7. Adjustable sizing die 8. Pacmeyer recoil pads

I think rangeball was asking if you are going to convert a 700 centerfire or a 700 ML into a smokeless muzzleloader.

I am assuming you are talking one of the barrels Luke will have soon?
Callahan machined lug Hunters bolt nose kit Modified savage plug/ w bushing Pillars added to stock with good bedding job Murphy/ Farrell / or talley picatinny base bedded to action Good pad on the stock if it didn't come with one A good trigger clean and adjusting by someone competent Rossman, Richard, or one of the guys here to put it all together

Good info already from Bill, I would throw in swinglock or hankins adjustable sizing die. Unless you plan to shoot saboted only, if so disregard.

What you said and what hillbill said, good stuff. However I think you will break over your $1K limit, but 1st quality cost and you will easily be 1/2 of what a Swinglock or Ashland Gun Innovations would cost. OH yeah, and remember that glass should be 1/3 of total outlay especially with a high end build. You have the right track in mind now. How about that Savage MLII? If you are going to move that to armortize some of your cost I'm calling 1st dibbs. 10 ga

With a Brux barrel and builder suppied action and pillar/epoxy bedding, I'm guessing between $1350-$1500 for all the parts and labor.

I did have a lot of editing after realizing my mistakes. I am also looking at Ashland gun innovations and know my conversion will be over $1000. I have also thought of doing it myself, but have little time at the moment. I will have several guns for sale once I am happy with conversion or gun I decide on. I believe I will hunt with muzzleloader all season as I do now, except when hunting rifle county. I want to hunt sabot less and appreciate all of your advise and will continue to read until I can make an educated decision. Kinda long winded after going to happy hour.

Just curious 10 ga., how do these conversions by the guys on this forum compare to one by Ashland gun innovations?

Advise on length of barrel and muzzle brakes, planning on using it all hunting season mostly in tree-stands with some possible 400 yard shoots early in season and then moving into woods.

It seems to change with the advice given and The more I start understanding the posts.

The Ashland guns are on CF actions vs the 700 ML action. the CF action will use either a cut down case to fire the gun with or a priming module like Hankins is using. there is pros and cons to both systems and you will have to decide which way you want to travel.
with the parts you have listed and a 26" Brux your gun will be in the 10-11 lb range naked. with either system it should be good for the open stuff or the woods depending on the glass you have on top.
the CF action donor will generally cost more up front and you will have to reprime your cases/ modules depending on which way you go vs using the 209 primers. the CF action will have locking lugs for an extra measure of security.
the ML action is generally cheaper to build and you can get parts and build it yourself if you want. depending on where you hunt the DNR will be less likely to question the ML action but for most guys that is a moot point. there are trade offs with either system but both are very capable..
