I just got my barrel from pacnor Friday afternoon and started fitting it to the stock. It flat out sucked, the barrel is 1.300" for 5" then tapers to 1" at 7.5" and is straight 1" to the finished length of 28". I took out enough material in the stock to expose the aluminum bedding to about 4" from the end of the stock. I am sending it out to piercision rifles next week to have a magnum muscle brake installed. I think that will bring the whole stick to about 31" but not positive. Got my drop off to swinglock for a die but it doesn't look promising for the Kentucky challenge. The barrel is a 5 groove 1:12 twist which should stabilize the Rocky Mountain and cutting edge 350gr pretty well. The loads are only described as stiff right now. I haven't tested anything and this is intended to stretch the limits so I don't care to openly discuss just yet. I am cutting a chamber with a .500 piloted reamer and will make it hold 80% of my targeted load for now. I still have to make my jag, it will be a modified spin jag. I'm waiting on some cutting edge bullets so I can make it for the match king and the cutting edge.

I'm hoping to have it going the end of August or early September. Just a little short on time so I am paying to have the brake installed but still want to cut my own chamber. Haven't decided exactly what I want to do for a scope yet. I was thinking the SWFA ss 5-25HD but haven't ever seen one to handle and get a feel for their quality.
