I've read a lot of the old threads on Swinglock sizing dies. I also know over time opinions change once the experimentation and learning phases have matured.
Right now Luke is building a 45 caliber Rempac and Bullberry is building a 45-70 1:22 twist barrel for my Encore. I hope to see both of them within the next 6-8 weeks along with the barrel drops.
Smooth seems to be the logical choice since I'll have two different guns to shoot. The Encore/Bullberry is intended for sabots and a tree stand gun but i don't want to limit my options to sabots only.
Thanks in advance for sharing for knowledge.

If they are both Pacnor 1/22 twist they could both use the same full form die.

I asked this same question awhile back. All replies were to go with the smooth die...even from Tom Post....not saying that everyone goes this way just all who replied. I would say to order your smooth form die's from tom now. Yes I have 2. And save your drops for further developments in technology. I believe the price ends up being the same Good Luck Drop

I'll have to check out Hankins dies. It been a long wait since I placed my orders in early February for these projects. I'm looking forward to load development and eventually hunting with these rifles. No bear tag this year so the first hunt will probably be Colorado elk during the second or third season. Michigan & Ohio Whitetails will be the next scheduled hunts. If it works out I may give Indiana a try too.
Thanks to everyone for the input. It was 39* this morning so my mind is on shooting and hunting. Break time is over it's time to get back on my tractor and disc up do dirt for my food plots.
