Any info on the BC or the optimum to maximum velocity? I assume this will only be offered in .50 cal.

It appears their modification of a Barnes TMZ or T-EZ bullet with a "thing-a-ma-gig" attached. They talk a high BC but it looks questionable.

It looks like they took some ideas off a 4.2" mortar round we used, the M329A1. It had a DODIC (Department Of Defense Identification Code)number of C699 so we always called it Charlie Six Niner Niner. The pressure plate at the base of the round would act on this composite sealing ring set-up where a fiberglass/plastic ring would expand and reinforce the rubber sealing ring. Once the tube got fouled the sealing ring design caused hang-ups, then you had to go thru a mis-fire procedure. We would get the call during a fire mission "delay of mission" and then ask the mortar unit "nature of delay", they would answer back with just "Charlie six niner niner" and we knew what the problem was.
