Building my first 700ML/McGowen and would like to use a B&C Medalist stock with blind mag. Which one would I need for the best fit? No tactical. Thanks.

Which barrel contour? A #7 is pretty meaty and does not fit into most sporter stocks. Hillbill has used just about every stock out there and can tell you which ones fit the best. So far for me the HS Precision sporter stock has been the best fit.
I always recommend a ADL style, with the magwell filled and the front trigger guard screw changed from the skinny #8 to a 1/4-28 and pillared makes a rock solid foundation for the 700ML IMHO.

I use the Standard Medalist BDL Short Action Stock with both the McGowen DMB-1 and Pacnor Sendro. There is just enough material in the fore end to not end up with a knife edge. I run approximately .045" of clearance at the end of the fore end to the barrel. The magazine well gets filled.

Hillbill recently told me the #2949 will take a Pacnor Sendaro but it's a little thin in places. A lot of channel work but makes a nice lightweight hunting stock. You have to remember the Pacnor Sendaro is about .100" larger in diameter then the factory 700ML barrel.
