I'm planning a WY speedgoat trip this year. I am saving up Preference points for a Sweetwater unit. My question is there some decent drawable 2nd choice units in the east Central or southern part of the state? I drew unit 42 a couple years ago and i was succesful. But looks like its a tougher unit to draw now as a 2nd choice. I will be hunting archery in Aug and if needed will come back with the rifle. I live in NE
Any info would great
Thanks.

Don't know anything about your question however have you hunted antelope in Nebraska? I hunted McKelvie last fall only saw three didn't hunt super hard I was with friends and we were fishing Merritt. So didn't get out as much add I thought I should.
Hoping this is the year I draw a ml tag then going out by scottsbluff. Either way good luck on your question how someone answers would be good info!

I have Luke working on a me build for me McRem hoping I can get it sighted in out to 500. Panhandle and I are working on loafs right now and trying scopes with target turrets. He already ordered some custom turrets for his. In still waiting on my gun to come back before I do any more ordering stuff. This is my third year putting in for antelope muzzleloader tag. I've never shot one before don't know what to expect. I've always hunted in Iowa wife convinced me to move to Omaha in 2011 at first I hated it however I found out I can hunt mule deer and goats. Not as upset now! Hoping in the next five years I can hunt elk in Colorado. We'll see though two very young kids at home keep us pretty busy. Good luck on your info and up coming hunts! RR

RR Yeah you will enjoy Antelope hunting! It is fun because you see them all over. Not like Whitetails where you only see them in the rut, morning or evening. Soon as my barrel gets in i can start putting stuff together. Good luck to you on hunting also. You should draw this year. Its every 3 years they saw you usually draw.

Is Wyoming still the #1 spot for antelope hunting opportunities for non resident hunters? I'm from NE Canada and would like to hunt antelope for the first time within the next year or two. Started hunting out west a few years ago and have fallen in love with the landscapes!
