This is a 9 shot group from Saturday & Sunday temps between 24 & 43 degrees winds from 5 to 15 mph with my Slufoot converted Apex. Shot 5 was partly me and after shot 6 I found the forearm screws had loosened after tightening shots 7/8/9 went back in the same hole. The load was Parker 250 be on top of 10/52 Clays/H4198 .060 veggie wad and a w209 primer. Shot this at 4 different times 3 groups of 2 & one 3 shot group. Had tried a 8/53 load of the same powder a few weeks back with good results upping the booster really tightened it up. All shots were off sand bags at 100 yards Attachments:apex group 1 25 26.htm (93.35 KB)

I'm just keeping my eyes open for all options. I've been pricing all the different types of builds and if I could I'd have both...a rem ML build but maybe with a kreiger or douglas barrel and then a break open action. I've always loved the rugers and I think it would be too cool to get a falling block .416 rigby converted into a SML. BTW: I just ordered a Samsung One Note and am getting a data plan to go with. I'm just upgrading everything this year. Attachments:

Look more like a gasket type material than the felt wads Ox Yoke and others sell.
