Hello, I've had a couple of bowtechs and I cracked a few limbs on my Sampson vft . Had one crack on one of my Mathews also . Never had a problem with any of my Hoyt's . All stood up and replaced parts no problem . Good luck.

The last couple of bows that I have had are bowtech. I used to shoot Mathews bows and they are really good bows also. But I switched to a bowtech and have not looked back yet.

Many good choices out there, seems like all the manufacturers are producing top notch bows. IMO, it all boils down to personal preference, find some shops who will let you hold and shoot a variety of bows, find one you feel most comfortable with that am in youre price range and roll with it. I had a Bowtech Destroyer 340 and have nothing but good things to say about it, I also liked my last Hoyt, and my current Darton. Good luck, choosing a new bow can be very tough.

ATA going on now. I'd go to Archery World and see what's come out new. Plus, most of the bow Manufactures' sites are likely updated. I agree with another poster, Hoyt is hard to beat.

I work part time at a local archery shop. We sell Mathews, PSE, Strother, and Hoyt. Have less problems with Hoyt than the others. Strother still too new to tell. Hoyts are a little easier to shoot than the Mathew IMO. I really like the carbon spyders. but they are very pricey. Hard to Justify over the aluminum riser bows .

The technology of Bowtech is always out front and hard to beat. Center Pivot Extreme riser design, pre-stressed hard core limbs, Overdrive Binary Cam System, Flex Guard roller guard are all innovative and very effective features that Bowtech has introduced in their line of bows among many others.
For a combination of speed, ease of draw and vibration free release I can think of no other line of compounds that can compare unless you plan on spending upwards of $2000 on a new bow.

Great bows and highly tuneable from what I have read. Main knock against them from posts I have read, there seems to be some issues with the limb finish flaking off on some models.

I would def check out Elite. I bought the new Energy 35 in Nov' and its the best bow I've ever shot. My Bowtech Invasion is now my backup. As for the Experience its basically the same bow as my Invasion. It will be interesting to see the reviews on the new RPM 360 get.

I bought an Energy 35 also, really like the Elite brand, lot easier draw cycle for my creaky shoulder.

I have had two experiences with Bowtech customer support, and I am not a fan of them as a result. I shoot and Elite Cuda, and am very happy.

I currently have my ole backup Guardian with fresh limbs and winners choice strings (my favorite bow ever and I have had lots in the last 38 yrs)and also a LE destroyer 350 with the flaky limbs, but still a heck of a hunting rig.
I would love a new cpxl but not in the plans for 2014
I shot Matthews for many years and also had Elite and strother recently as well as a Z-7 but it was just way too short for my liking. All good bows, its just a matter of shooting what you are comfortable with. Me, I like a long riser or at least one that fools me into thinking its longer like the bowtechs with their center pivot design but that's just me. I can honestly say my old guardian is the best balanced bow I have ever shot and one of the quietest and deadest in the hand at the release. the new bows are all good. one to look very hard at is the Bear Anarchy, one of the best bows out there IMO
IM still a Bowtech man right now but that can change with one shooting session if something better comes along, so far nothing has...

Looks like it might interfere with the cord that controls the rest?

The Screamin Bull quiver wont work on Hoyt . Jeff is in the process of designing a quiver similar to the cross Axis but it will be a vertical type for Hoyt. on Mathews , Elite , and i believe Bowtech . Don't quote me on the Bowtech .The String for the Drop away rest does not get interfered with at all . It really is awsome . I wanted it bad but my philosophy on bow buyin is shoot them all . Dont just go in and say i want a "Z7" there all different in there own way .
