Welcome. Most use 700 ML to convert or a Savage ML, there are some center fires converted so that's an option, as well are the 45-70 single shots. Look around and read up to help you decide what you may want to do. The options are limitless, once you decide the end results you want to achieve contact one of the great builders here and you're set. The most common barrels used are Pacnor and McGowen. There's a ton of great people here, and a ton of knowledge, do some reading, ask some questions and most importantly start saving money, enough money for 2 builds because one won't be enough, this stuff is addictive! P.S. A good starting point is to contact Luke at arrowhead sporting goods, there's a link on the main page to his site, he will have everything you need and if not he will have an answer to your questions. Welcome again and good luck
