I havnt had a chance to shoot this over a chrono yet. I did not want to get caught up on the speed and focused on accuracy during load development. Does anyone have a ballistic program that might give me a ballpark speed Remington Sendero .300 win mag 26 inch barrel 78.6 grains of H1000 190 Berger hunting VLD Zeroed at 100 and come up 5 MOA and dead on at 410 yards

for your approx. load per berger manual approx. 2900fps//quickload around 3000fps//jbm says calc's approx. 3130fps to reach that approx. traj

mtj555,
Just wondering where you got the load data to come up with your load? Usually a reloading manual gives the approx speed along with min-max charge levels. If not using a reloading manual, I would be careful.

I got the data from my Berger reloading manual. It just seems my muzzle velocity might be faster than what the manual suggest based off only 5 MOA come up for 400 yards. I fully understand most ballistic calculators only get you close and to be more accurate I need to true it up using actual real world data. I really need to get a chrono it magnetospeed. Thanks for the assistance

from the approx. data I looked up you should be around 60k psi, nothing alarming
question- on your 5moa, are you dialing or reticle holding, regardless you are going to have to spend time shooting long to see if this continues to pan out.
I suspect you know this -ime it is usually more accurate with a longer zero maybe 200 or 300yds,especially going long range eventually.jmho

What kind of scope are you using? Been looking at Nightforce for my next scope.
