I don't bow hunt. I have never shot a bow. Never had any interest in a bow. She asked me, Papa, What should I get? I DON'T KNOW $HIT. It sounds like she just wants it to shoot targets??? She has here hart set on a recurve NOT a compound, for what ever reason. She is 15 , 5 foot 2" maybe 95 pounds long arms and all legs. She is also quite accomplished shooter, not as much a hunter, but loves to shoot. From what I have researched it looks like she needs some thing like a 54" 20 pound bow and a 24" draw. Sound about right? If you have ANY suggestions or recommendations PLEASE let me know.

Go to a "good" archery shop and have her fitted to something that can grow with her....... will make the difference in her pursuing it long term or burning out cause it not "fun".........good fitting setups are a joy to shoot and misfits are NOT!

Mission Craze or PSE Mini Burner I purchased one each for my Two older granddaughters one 11yr and 8yr old both work great and you get lots of adjust-ability to them . I also got my wife a Mission Craze they are that flexible . Just have the bow shop set them up to match the shooter .

A recurve will work for her. There is no specific draw length and the longer the draw the more weight it will be storing. She may be eyeing an olympic future? You can spend a good bit of money on a good recurve,ie. target style with sights and all but I would get her started on a moderate model and see if she really wants to stick with it.

I bought my GF a Mission Craze, bought it as a kit. I can't remember all the specs but it is one of them bows that will fit anyone, great for kids or females. it adjusts from like 15-70 lbs or something crazy, and the draw length is the same, it goes from really short all the way up to 30". Really adjustable bow and to beat that, the price is reasonable and this is just a darn nice bow, shoots really well and is very smooth and quiet too. It's a win win for a lot of people, this bow will last people a long time, it adjusts as they grow and you don't even need a press to make changes. Check Missions sight cause I'm not sure on the exact draw lengths and weights, was just using examples above, it is really adjustable and IMO a great bow for the money.
