I got one. Very pleased with the deal: a complete, fully warrentied SZ 380 kit(scope, arrows, quiver, sling, cocking rope) for $529 to your door is an unbelievable deal.
2011SZ 380 vs 2013SZ 380 vs Parker Saf Mag#175 This might be of general interest beyond just Bowteck users. I have a 380 I got just after introduction and a refurbished SZ 380 from Wyvern. I included data also from my 2006-7 Parker Saf Mag(with new limbs again). Differences on the SZ are:1) app 3/4" wider axle to axle on 2013 and 2) about that much longer draw on the 2013. Less poundage but longer draw:somewhat compensating. I shot 4 different arrows thru the 3 crossbows; and on the 2013 SZ, I shot it with and w/o the Sims Super Quads. Arrows:1) Factory supplied, "Striker" 100g point - 395g, 2) 21" L-3 Pro, Blazers,Al insert,170g point - 432g, 3) 22" L-3 Pro, Br insert, 100g point,Blazers - 455g, 4) Red Hot Arrow/175g point - 492g.
Arrow. 2011SZ Simms : 2013SZ bare/Simms: Parker 395g. 377'/sec: 363/362: 336 432g 361: 349/347: 325 455g 354: 341/339: 316 492g 343: 331/330: 309
So the speed loss for the faster bows was between 3-4'/sec for each 10g of arrow wt gain and about 2.5'/sec loss for the same on the slower crossbow. The 2011 is appx 13-15'/sec faster than the newer SZ380. Maybe it should be called the SZ365. Hope this info is helpful and answers some of the questions I see arise on the board frequently. I'm sorry, but I had put this info in a nice linear column but the program sees fit to condense it. I'd rather it leave it to how I printed it.
