Michigan doesn't allow smokeless during muzzleloading season. During firearms season, smokeless may be used in rifle zones not shotgun zones. and us in zone 3 don't kiss and tell

From the South Carolina SCDNR site:
Primitive Weapons For special primitive weapons seasons....... which use black powder or a black powder substitute that does not contain nitrocellulose or nitro-glycerin components as the propellant charge. There are no restrictions on ignition systems including flintstone, percussion cap, shotgun primer, disk, or electronic.

The ML-1 is not able to shoot a cartridge without changing the barrel......I suppose that you could make a replaceable breech that could have a chamber but I don't think that is what they mean!
My Handi Rifle would fall into that category since the BP is not threaded and if I knock it out I can shoot a cartridge.
