200 GR SST and light blue harvester , 33 grs 4759 . 88yds DRT . I thought the bullet was in the deer,but proved to be a pass through. High shoulder shot anchored on the spot ;D Attachments:

That sounds like a very reasonable load in terms of what this bullet will do at a little slower speed. What is the speed on that load anyway?

Congrats and nicely done. Also enjoyed reading the result where you have utilized velocity and bullet characteristic for a nice responsive load with lower recoil.

Great job. Was shooting 30gr thru my daughters gun tonight with great groups and no recoil. Can't wait for her to get a chance to kill something.

Today is the last day to doe hunt in WI in my area. I reloaded with 33 grs 4759 and a 195 Barnes instead of the SST if i get the chance.
