Its been a long time since I have shot my TC Hawken 54 Cal. I am in the process of getting it all cleaned up and ready to shoot. I recently came across the Mag Spark by Warren Custom outdoors. It is a nipple that encloses a 209 primer and doesn't require a different hammer. It looks like it might be a slow process to reload another primer in it. Has anyone used this primer system? If so, have you had any luck igniting BH209? Just curious. I was thinking a Fed 209A and some BH209. I don't know what a safe load of BH209 would be out of the Hawken if possible.

Yes This is the thing . Unscrew the cap over the 209 then put the powder then bullet as u push the bullet down there air going to pass the old primmer out also a little maxi greese works in the primmer area to, real light with the greese there. These work great
