He is coming into his own and turning the crank for me! He winded 2 and hit a track and slammed the 3rd one this morning. So far he is proving to be very well balanced between tracking and winding and sighting as he does not care how he gets it done. I like that. He passed up the chance to run deer this morning. He just watched them run off. He is all about the squirrel business at hand. This pup is out of Joey Hutsons Bandit dog and Jason Newels Hell Creek Dixie female and I purchased him for a potential stud dog. I am not regretting this decision. He has a huge mouth on the wood and flat cranks it out. He does not blow out of the country. Typical of Black Mouths he is very intelligent and learns quickly. I am having a blast with him! Here is a pic from this am hunt. We did not get to hunt as long as I wanted due to mowing commitments but it did not take him long anyway!

Having owned a dog for hunting it’s great to have such a partner in the field who shares the passion of the hunt. Sounds like you guys are a formidable team when on the hunt. Best wishes for many memorable hunts to come.
