A near perfect afternoon,we decided to run out and do a little calling. As we head out of town the clouds started to roll off the Rockies. They where small but when one would pass by the wind would kick up to around 25 mph and spit some rain. Hunted till 10:00 with out even seeing a dog. Bummer ,I had to work the morning 3:00 AM to 1:00 pm then watch the grandkids till 4:30. So we didn't get going till 5:00. We did how ever find a very nice Prairie dog town on some state land we will have to revisit and I got to try out some new Dove/Rabbit loads I've been working up. A load of #5's/#7 1/2's in a 2 3/4 hull. They look to be a very good load. I shot 3 Pigeons and a Prairie dog and flat out WHACKED them... We never give up ,I'm guessing I'll be back out this weekend, unless it looks like a good day to take the boat and do some fishing
