I have a chance to buy a TC Seneca 45 that is nearly new. Very pretty little gun. I would like to put a tang aperature sight on it but all the ones made by TC were for the Hawken/Renegade guns(I think). The tang on this gun is much more narrow w/smaller skrews. Not somthing I have to do right away but wondering if anyone here would have any ideas. I think one of the old Lyman tang sights might work. I think I can get this gun for 225 which I think is a steal. The bore is spotless

They have factory parts and after-market parts that will fit. Just measure the flat part across. www.trackofthewolf.com/

BigIron, In T/C catalog #11 (1984) they first cataloged tang sights. #7194 for Hawkens & Renegades, and #7196 for Senecas & Cherokees. The catalog states that "drilling and tapping of one hole" is required. You may be able to find #7196 on ebay or elsewhere if you want to keep the gun"all T/C". That's a very good price. Good luck.

I have a Cherokee in 32 caliber with a tang peep sight. Nice little rifle and very accurate.
