Good shot. Good kill! Looks fat, pregnant female?? Seems a little early to be late in gestation. Maybe it is the result of an over pressurization of the heart/lung area. Dave

Believe it or not, this is a male. He was fat as a tick. He came in with 5 others! The bad part was we had to get right up on the weed patch/thicket they were in so they could hear the calls. the wind had us messed up all morning. We could only see bits and pieces of them until he gave me a shot a touch over 100yrds. I'm really liking the thumb hole stock for off hand shooting. He took it in the chest and it didn't exit so I'm sure it's messy inside:)

Vari xii 4-12 ao. I've been abusing it since new and it keeps holding on. The stock has a good feel but the rear of the cheek piece is a little too high. I feel a touched cramped on it. That pelt was kind of odd colored. It was real light at thethe roots and the ends were red. Must of been a metrocoyote.

Great shooting! It does look like a bred female. The other day a local guy snared a female that look just like the one you posted and she was bred. Mike

It looks like that stock was built with intentions of someone putting a bowling pin scope on the Ml. I usually don't advocate going with higher rings and getting the bell far above the bore axis but in your case some higher rings might give you a little better cheek weld. Ill take the better cheek weld over a higher bore axis any day.

Luke that's a nasty one. Check out the possum tail. Iowan chupacabra! ;D ;D Yeah, it made me itch just looking at it! The picture doesn't do it justice as to just how nasty it was. I left it where it dropped. I used my smokeless AR15 in 243WSSM. I'm sort of ashamed to admit this, but I don't have a single MZ in my possession to shoot at the moment. The one I used this season I built for my buddy, and he claimed it in January. I do have a pretty cool one brewing that should be ready in a couple of months or sooner though.

Called a couple in this morning again and lineman put the smack on one. Sucker crawled off in the underbrush somewhere before we got to him. Heck we thought he was dead and was trying for another before we went to get him. All in all it was a good morning. We called in 3 bald eagles and a bunch of crows to boot.

164 yrds drt. Second setup of the morning. Had to get payback after missing one on the first setup and busting my forehead open on the scope. This was an old male that was cautious as all getout on the way in. He couldn't take the mojocritter out there wiggling though once he seen it.

Thanks. All I could see was mostly his head so I.aimed at his nose. I shot just a touch low and the bullet just barely caught the bottom jaw. But when it hit its neck it left a crater the size of a baseball
