Ever had your bow hang up on brush or vines as you carry it in the dark to your stand? Ever got to your stand only to find that you have lost a couple or all of your arrows from your quiver? Ever pulled your bow up to your stand in a tree only to have it hang up on a bush or get banged against the tree as you try to jerk it from whatever is hanging it up? Wouldn't it be nice not needing to pull your bow up to you in the tree but just carry it up with you as you climb? Well, for years I have carried my bow through the woods in a soft case to protect it as I walk to or from my stand in the dark. Then hoist the case up to my stand and velcro it to the side of the rail. But now there is nifty bow case that not only protects the bow and allows you to climb up to the stand with the bow on your back but also contains your scent protection spray, gps, limb saw, grunt call, powder puffer, knife, release aid, flashlight, bow hanger and arrows!!! Check it out www.gameplangear.com/featured_prods/featprods_bowbatxl.html

What happens when you walk upon a deer of a lifetime and your bow is packed away on your back? I actually had this happen this year while walking out one morning. Mike

What happens when you walk upon a deer of a lifetime and your bow is packed away on your back? I actually had this happen this year while walking out one morning. Mike That happened to me once too. But I can't tell you how many times I have hung up my bow as I crawled through swamps and brush to get to my stand. Not to mention beating up my bow as I bang it against the tree in the dark pulling it up the tree. I also carry too much stuff with me into the woods but this carrier would hold most of those things. I will admit that it would take only once to see a buck of a lifetime while you are walking in or out and get that sick feeling as you realize that there is nothing that you can do about it but just admire him. After that the Bow Bat would probably be tossed into the swamp to stay. But as I get older I realize that sometimes those bruisers are supposed to just be admired while I watch. I actually think that I would laugh if I walked up on a trophy class buck while I had my bow strapped to my back. Well, I would laugh after I struggled to rip my bow from my back to no avail. LOL Doug

When I climb the tree I wear nothing on my back but a fall arrest harness (attached at all times). For safetys sake- I pull the bow/pack up when I can see well enough to avoid banging it against steps, tree etc. I'm more worried pulling up the muz!
