Pressure Trace: PN45 A2015, 300rem jhp (Sabotless) The burn rate of 2015 suggests that it would be useful as a duplex with light bullets or as a single with heavier ones. I traced this as a single because there is not much out there for it. Results were not far from QL predictions with a 99% powder burn. Predicted recoil for the 75gr load with a 300gr bullet approaches 32 ft. lb for an 11 lb gun. TG Gage and Module Manufacturer = RSI PTII Bluetooth model. Trigger Sensitivity = 7. Strain Gage Voltage =5.096. Gage Factor =2.11. PSI Correction Factor: 5kpsi.(calibrated to my standard load) Rifle Stand: Caldwell Lead Sled. Altitude: 450 ft. Chronograph: Chrony Alpha Model 8 ft from muzzle. (13 fps. added to all recorded velocities to correct for distance of chrony from muzzle.) Barrel Type: PacNor .45 Cal Muzzleloader. Barrel OD = 1.06in. Barrel ID = .452in. Barrel L.= 23.125in. from front of breechplug. Breech Plug:Savage Std. (screw-in ventliner) ventliner orifice .032 in. Sensor dist fm BP=1.125in. Bullet Diam.= .458in. Resized to .448in Type= Remington 300gr. jhp.,unknurled. Sabot:None. Wads: Lubed wool over .06x.462 fiber wad. Primer: Fed 209A. Powder: Both Traces: Accurate 2015 75gr. Shot fm. dirty barrel. These loads seemed safe in my barrel under the test conditions but may not be so in other conditions.

Nice looking traces and nice exit points, if I understand this correctly.

Again, nice trace TG!.................It does seem that since you changed whatever it is you changed (CRS), those funky blips/spikes have disappeared altogether. Deadon.............with all the loads posted here and the traces run by TG and myself (to a lesser extent) I have failed to see anything that remotely resembles a "dangerous" load that even comes close to the burst strength of these barrels. Our biggest problem comes from double loading and even that, has only slightly bulged a few barrels. Richard
