63g H4198, 195 Barnes, Smooth blue Harvester. About 2750 fps and will shoot about as good as the guy behind the gun can hold it.
I'll be testing some other loads after the holidays but I doubt I'll find anything that will do what I need out of a deer gun any better than this load does.

Billy.........my load of 15/55.....N-110/H-322 has been doing very well for Herman and myself. Herman's friend John shot the load in Herman's rifle and put three SST's in 3/4" at 300 yrds! But really, there are so many that shoot well..........Just take your pick Richard

Shoot that same load in my HB 50 except a 300 Barnes original instead of the 195, that would make things easy for me, got the N120 weighed out and ready to go. What kind of groups are you getting with yours?

Billy.......I don't think I have shot it in the new 26" barrel but in the 23" it averaged in the high 2700's and just a tad over an inch for five shots at 100 yards. I will be shooting it on Tuesday to see what the Trace's look like. I think you can see from the above responses that there are many good loads. You will not be disappointed I got the notice from the post office on the shipment of your gun. Richard

I had a bunch of 60 grn N-120 charges loaded up so I threw them in the box and off to the range I went. I shot 3 different powders that day.The first group is the 60 grns of N-120.I shot the first 2 almost touching then I had a interuption.. ;D and then shot the 3rd one. I have since then been able to keep it under 3/4 of inch consistantly. This was the 2-3 shot interuption..a 295 yd squirrel shot! 63 grn of Reloader-7

62 gr N120, 195 BX (new flat base), Light Blue harvester sabot, CCIM.
Both guns, I have two 45 PacNor, with this load shoots better than I can.
I have passed so may shots at super nice bucks during the Ohio seasons waiting on Mr. Big. We have 4 days of MZ coming soon and I WILL get to see how this load works on deer. I have little doubt it will perform as expected

I took out a heavy bodied buck at 307 yds this season with 60 grns.Complete pass through. He went approx. 15 yards.going down the whole time. What are you getting velocity wise out of the 62 grns?

I sure wish Illinois would let me use a .40 cal bullet---since I don't want to resize. Dirty dogs!! Illinois is just a tough place for us gun owners...Man I am happy I found this place a couple years ago. With all the help and information from these guys.... I now can hunt like the guys with centerfire's. I am very happy with my H4198... But after reading I am thinking about trying some Reloader#7 also. Drop
