Took my buddy from church out today to finish sighting in our ml and let me tell you I am glad I went to smokeless!!! Going to be hunting in the sand hills of Nebraska and I know I might have to stretch out and touch someone so I am happy with today's results!! Both my buddy and I are sighted in to 200 yards and I am good to 400 yards. My buddy is shooting a brand new Traditions Vortex Light Hunter he got from the bargin bin from Cabelas for $200 mounted with a Leupold Scope 3x9. This is his first time shooting muzzleloader and he was complaining on 80 grains of Blackhorn 209 and a 300 SST but he can shoot. I am shooting a 45-70 Optima Elite convert by Slufoot shooting 60 grains of 4198IMR under a 200 SST. I am very happy with the results today and can't wait to shoot again. I am glad I spend time getting dialed in and knowing my distances which will help me be more successful when it comes time for season. Here are the results for today Load 60 grains 4198IMR 200SST Knurled Blue Harvestor Sabot Winchester 209 Primers 200 Yards300 and 400 yardsRiver Rat
