Okay first thing first, I would like to let anyone who is having problems with getting good accuracy out of their gun please make sure you try and skim threw a lot of the past posts. I have found a lot of helpful knowledge to get me closer and closer to what I would like as a good group. With that said---- Today I was only able to shoot 56 yards however I think I am getting close. I started off by switching back to my Nikon Omega BDC scope because I think my other cheap scope is down for the count. Then I lightly knurled 6 bullets to see if that would help. I also went back to 56 grains of IMR 4198. The two holes centered on target are from previous range session where scope wasn't holding zero. Two holes upper right that are almost touching are from tonight which were the first two shots after mounting the new scope. Lazer bore sighted to get on paper. Again this is a 45-70 berraga barrel that was a Slufoot conversion. Load-- 200 XTP Blue Sabot Knurled 56 Grains IMR 4198 CCI Primers 56 Yards Feeling a lot better about my guns performance!! ;D
